week 7 buds real hard and feel kinda dry

i was wondering if it was normal for buds close to finish to feel real hard and dry...my trichomes are all cloudy my strain is atomic bomb, breeder flowering time says 8-9 weeks... im 8 weeks from flip 7 weeks from pistils... they dont feel sponge like the did when they did a few weeks ago
 
man i think this shit is gonna be super dense. not really what i was hoping for , no one likes a gram that looks like a .5 but i guess its way better then a gram that looks like an 8th
 
Honestly I don't go by trichs or etc any more I did but I quit all that I grow them until the get dense. I walk in squeeze beds if dense real dense I pull if not I let go. It may not be the "proper way" but it works for me quite well
 
man id love to go down there and pluck just one branch off but ive waited 5 months for my first harvest, and have got to make this crop count..
 
my trichs are nice and cloudy buds are filled out but i want that "oh was u talking to me" type of stoned where ur in your own little world thinking aabout the most retarded shit possible... i wanna be sitting at stop signs waiting for them to turn green .... im guessing thats gonna come with amber trichomes and really potent weed
 
personally I find that my buds come out the best if I harvest right after the hairs get pulled in. I dont really look at my trichs too much.but when I do look at them around that stage they are pretty much all cloudy with some ambers/clears.
