Week 8 lighting issues

I have a grow closet and my plants are budding, but I can't raise my light any higher. I think I have about 2-3 weeks left until harvest. Some of my top branches and buds are turning white from the light. I guess I should've started the 12/12 cycle at 3 weeks instead of 4. So I tied the buds to where the ones getting the burn were away from the light. Will the bud that kinda got burned still be good?

I had similar trouble and also tied off the stalks. I only had one bud that had touched the glass plate separating the grow space from the bulb.....it did not quite turn while like yours. I'm not sure if it will be revived? It has been a couple of days since I tied down and that bud still looks pretty much the same?

thanks . does this mean you have a bad stran,it seems the killer strans look shorter and stockier. bag seed from white rino so he says could you tell me if its a good stran,by looking at it.cant wait to have your knowledge

no I do not believe heifght is a percursor to a bad strain....there are Thai variants that grow 5m (18ft)...the sativas are generally taller and lankier, the indicas are generally shorter and bushier....but the height is a genetic component of the seeds "inherent potential" and some people have height restrictions and will therefore only vege for a very short period of time (say up to 12" in height - I veged for 19 days and this was likely too long - cuz I ended up with too much height for my cab?) before flowering....others will vege for 2 months and not have to worry about how tall the plant gets. it goers wothout saying that height restrictions limit the total overall yeild...which can be compensdated for by other methods of topping, and lst'ing to further develop the lower reaches of the plants
