i'm just curious, does ne1 know about what weight percent loss from harvest time to completely dry time is? i just harvested my first plants am i'm curious how much weight will be lost during the drying process.

From half to three quarters will be lost weight wise.

i think three quarters is a little excessive, more like 1/3 to a half

i've seen 16 ounces turn into 9.

the % will change alot depening if its seeded bud or not. ive had 600 grams dry out to 200 seedless and have had 500 grams dry down to 250 seeded.

Fresh buds are usually about 75% water.

Buds harvested while immature (before 8 wks flowering) will tend to lose more weight in drying. Those flowered slightly longer than normal (10wks vs 8wks) lose slightly less weight in drying, perhaps 70%.
