What are we looking at?As title says I have some weird bud formation going on. It is only on top of plant and only affects 3 buds. I thought it might be reveg but I have checked for light leaks and have none. Anyone seen this before. Thanks in advance for any insight. Happy growing.View attachment 5117800View attachment 5117801View attachment 5117802
See I thought foxtailing also. Glad to hear you say it. Confirms what I was thinking. Thank you for the reply. Those aren’t leaves they’re calyxes and looks like maybe a little foxtailing going on
OK newb alert, is that a good thing or a bad thing?thought foxtailing also
It can mean that temps are too high in that area or it could just be genetic.OK newb alert, is that a good thing or a bad thing?
No sir. This is a photo GDP.Is this an auto flower plant?
I've never seen rounded sugar leaves like that except from revegging photos or autoflowers. No sir. This is a photo GDP.
I thought reveg at first when this started about a week ago but I have checked and I do not have any light leaks. So if it did reveg I do not know what would have caused it. Thanks for the reply.I've never seen rounded sugar leaves like that except from revegging photos or autoflowers.
Double and triple check your timer. Verify it's off at random times during the dark cycle.I thought reveg at first when this started about a week ago but I have checked and I do not have any light leaks. So if it did reveg I do not know what would have caused it. Thanks for the reply.
Will do. Thanks for the replies and help. It is much appreciated.Double and triple check your timer. Verify it's off at random times during the dark cycle.
I always check and make sure lights are off and on at appointed times it I never check and make sure lights stay off after they go out. I use an electrical timer and have never had any issues. But I will be staying up tonight just to make sure. Just a note there is 3 other plants in this room and none of them are doing this.Weird things happen. I ALWAYS double check to see if lights go out at midnight. A couple a nights ago, 12:00 had passed on the digital timer, but no lights out. ... and this is a pretty nice timer system. Turns out, a ground wire in the mechanical latch box to the timer had come loose. The main switch was useless to turn the lights out. I had to flip the breakers to kill the lights, and then get up at 6 am to flip them back on. My electrician got out there the next day and made sure everything was tight. I suppose the harmonic frequency of the wall fans vibrated it loose over a 3 1/2 year period.
PS: I don't like getting up at 6 am.
I think you just have a mutated pheno there, but it should finish fine. May not make the biggest buds, but you never know till you finish her. May turn out to be a keeper... maybe not. Sorry, didn't know there was other plants not having the same issues. If that's the case it's most likely a pheno issue with that plant.I always check and make sure lights are off and on at appointed times it I never check and make sure lights stay off after they go out. No worries. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. You have been very helpful and besides I learned something. Anytime I learn something it is not a waste. Thanks again.Sorry, didn't know there was other plants not having the same issues. If that's the case it's most likely a pheno issue with that plant.
Probably no need to stay up in the middle of the night for nothing. Issues with electrical timers usually happen at lights on/off. GL
