Hey i had a weird question to ask. So you know how you need 12/12 light/dark for ur plants to flower? Well what if you made 48h days since the beginning and have 36h on and 12h off and then switch to 24/24 light/dark? Would that work? I don’t want to experiment myself but if anyone has could you explain to me what happened plz? Thanks!

Plants have evolved for thousands of years based off of a solar day. The day and night lengths of a solar day change as the earth orbits the sun which is why we have shorter or longer days depending on the time of the year. I don't see what benefit you'd gain by changing what's worked in nature for thousands of years.
