its the gentics of each plant the one that is growing fast is one you want to keep an eye on if you goin to keep a mother plant.ok i have two little new seedlings but the weird this is i planted them the same day after germinating them and one is growing great its like 3 inches tall and the other is growing extreamly slow like its only about a centimeter tall but its not dead and they are both getting the same attention...whats up??
I agree, if the two plants are of the same strain, the bigger one is probobly just a stronger genotype (hopefully "she" isn't a "he".) Otherwise, different strains grow differently under different conditions (Nutrient uptake, water uptake, climate ect.) You have to watch your plant carefully and figure out how to best suit each individual plants needs.
Fill a cup with water (distilled or tap left to sit) take a peice of styrofoam with a diameter smaller than that of the cup, poke a hole big enough for the stem of your clone to fit through (but not too big where it falls through the hole) cut your clone and scrape all the way around the clone with a razor so some of the tissue under the surface is exposed (about an inch) all the way around, put it through the styrofoam so about an inch or so sticks out and just let the clone floaton top of the water. you should see roots start to appear within a week. MAKE SURE if using a clear cup that the roots are not exposed to any light. Its just best not to use a clear cup. Hope that helps
