weirdest clones ever ak 47

these are my clones, they are at least 1 1/2 months old. i have been using this same strain of ak 47 for around 3 years maybe more. every time i clone they end up taking forever to root and always look like this. they take close to a month to start showing new leaf growth and when they do its always these sprout looking leaves they will eventual start growing normally but it takes awhile. they have started growing this way again once but i beleve that was because they got stressed because of under watering. this strain will produce some super dank buds but it really annoys me when my cloning process takes twice as long. the cloning process is pretty standard i use schultz rooting powder tho. no ph problems or nute problems. fox farm nutes and soil. any ideas??could it be that the strain has been cloned to many times? i dont have a mother plant i just take clones from my last plant before i put them into flowering. some of my original plants where not the healthiest.

This is from taking clones from a flowering plant, from what I see here. When a plant flowers it grows these single leafs sometimes coming out of the bud, I've cloned a flowering plant and it took a month or more to come out of flowering and into a real veg phase. I now prefer to take clones from vegging plants only to save me a bit of time.
