But when do my fellow washintonians start preppin their outdoor areas? West or East side. I want to hear whats up!
Nice mix!! I am on the Wet side of the hump so no outdoor for me......... but I like your mix and wish you the best of luck
Woot some responces thanks guys!! Finally lols I was waiting for this to start to take off.DC is zone 7b-8, so.......May first planting. get your soil ready by mid-april. it can mellow a bit, before the final planting. treat it like a tomato. you could go even earlier, but May 1st assures no frost.
Yeah man, your lucky that you got a green house! I wish I had one but, atleast I can start my plants indoors. So UncleBuck you decide where your gonna move, I had read the thread about you trying to decide betweeen eirther bellingham or bellvue and ellensburg. Did anybody talk to you about the hunting around ellensberg, it isnt to shabby lots of game (Deer, Rabbit, Elk, Bear, Grouse, Dove) Its all their! If your into that sort of stuffi put my plants into the ground on the first day of summer last year, will hopefully get them in a little sooner this year. being that it was my first time outdoors last year, i was unaware how much warmth a greenhouse provides. i would have had them in the ground in mid may had i known.
ohhhhh ......the nice Washington.....lol. never mindWoot some responces thanks guys!! Finally lols I was waiting for this to start to take off.
Hey scrog you talkin about washington dc?? Im in washinton state here on the east side!! Where the summers are hot and the winters are Cold! But Yeah I put my outdoor out last year around may had no problems this year, Ill be doing super soil and putting them into the ground instead of in pots! Also I will have some actual genetics! Last year was just a bag seed!
I refer to us as the Other Washington, but agree we're nicer, too!ohhhhh ......the nice Washington.....lol. never mind
If you lived in the rain shadow (Sequim, upper Kitsap Peninsula, or SanJuans) you might have a shot at outdoor on the west side of the cascadesI just don't have enough sun, enough heat and enough daylight to grow outside.......lol
I have seen some nice stuff come from your neck of the woods though. The NLxBig Bud should get huge outside!! Hope you are in a friendly area....I hear a scary story now and again about the dry side of the mountains
Oh I see, Well looking forward to hearing what happens in your future. Washington state could always use another educated grower here, dont matter what side lols. After Living on the coast of washington my whole life then moving over to the eastern side 2 years ago. I like the eastern side better. The weather is more favorable I think. But thats just my opinion.well, it's not our decision, it depends on a weird ranking system between the student and the school. late february and we should know.
Lols yeah man, nothing to crazy about here. I mean it deffinently has it's perks but Im sure that most places do.ohhhhh ......the nice Washington.....lol. never mind
Lols Yeah I agree with you.I refer to us as the Other Washington, but agree we're nicer, too!
Hmm yeah, The negatives of that would be the cold season's start early when you get around their. But it is deffinently worth a shot for somebody. If thats what it takes to get a good Outdoor going! If you lived in the rain shadow (Sequim, upper Kitsap Peninsula, or SanJuans) you might have a shot at outdoor on the west side of the cascades
Hey thanks for dropping by, And yes I have alot on my list but I figure if I do it right and put into it right. I will be closer to getting what I want out of it!Holly smokes Wow!
