So I got my housing assignment for fall a few days ago, and I just told my roommate that I smoke.

this is his response:

"umm I'd rather that you didn't store the "stuff" that you smoke in
our room and that you didn't smoke it in there...If you MUST store it
somewhere, ask someone else to store it in their room...that's really
my biggest concern...I don't want to get caught with anything like
that in our room...I hope you can understand that, since that's
really my only concern...is that cool with you?"

I totally understand not smoking in the room (besides, the smoke detectors in my building are notoriously sensitive) but not keeping my stuff in there? I'll gladly spend the money for any type of hidden stash system and have told him so, but SERIOUSLY! What did I do for this karma!

Think about the propaganda he has been fed his entire life. Like if there is even one gram in the room the police will find it and send him to the federal pen for LIFE.

Man I keep my shit locked in my cigar humidor in an altoids can under my cigars. The cigars mask the smell, the weed doesn't make the cigars smell all herby, the bud doesn't dry out and best of all no one poking around will find my shit.

Thompson cigar runs good deals on cheap lockable humidors. I would let him know that you have dropped that nasty habbit of smoking the stinky mexican weed and now have refined your tastes for Cubanos.

Just stop telling him anything and I would just hide it, but hide it well. You never know he might be one of those I found it so I threw it down the toilet guys. Don't want that!

you can try a mini safe,u can get them at walmart where you can store your stash in there aswell

"ya, I understand. I definitely won't smoke in the room, but I guarantee you I can store it without getting caught. I'm not bringing anything big like a bong, it's all small enough to fit in one of my shoes. I could get a stash jar or other secret compartment setup if you'd like. I currently use a double floor system in the shelving in my room to hide my stuff, and it's survived through my parents looking through my room multiple times. I could definitely rig up something like that if you'd like. I could rig up a lamp stand, book, pillow, any number of systems can be adapted for stealth storage.

if you don't tell him, he has a legitimate excuse not knowing which is that much better if (not that you will) get caught. which is why he's worried. so it'll work out best for both of you

my roommate was really happy I smoked and pissed that I didn't drink. hope you can form some type of agreement with your roommate. if not..well, just don't tell him what you have. it's as simple as that, isn't it?

It is soooooo tempting to get a card. but I don't have the money for it now. Not sure what the college's policies on that are as it is.

it's in one of the greatest weed crossroads in the world.

40 minutes from Santa Cruz, and under an hour to the Bay. Some of the greatest herb available anywhere in the world is being smoked by students there.


and I checked the school site, they do not allow the storage or use of marijuana for students under prop 215.

i bet this non-smoking roommate becomes the biggest stoner on the floor by next May. just lie to him and tell him you quit and there is nothing in the room. make sure you keep it well hidden. if he still objects tell him you detest alcohol and don't want any trouble for underage drinking. destroy any alcohol he brings in the room if he even looks funny at your green.

I smoked some herb when I was out visiting schools in PA, the closest I got to philly was Bethlehem or Easton, but you guys do have so legit herb growin in the Appalachians, I just get to be right in between 2 of the biggest smoking towns anywhere, frisco and santa cruz.
