Well water?

I'm on a water well and was wondering, is this water OK for growing? Would an RO filter help? The water tests indicate no contaminants and safe to drink, but not sure if this means safe for plants :D Thanks.

I've used city water and well water it's not a big deal...people that tell you otherwise usually have little to no growing experience.......I'm not saying all tap water is usable..but if you can drink it so can plants...

The well water is better than city water with all the chlorine and chloramine that go into city water fluoride all sorts of shit. Check your ph of ur well water. The well water I use for outdoor has lots of cal mag in it so its awesome shit. I always have hearty stems. I would also check the ppm of the total dissolved solids. TDS readers aren't that expensive. It will atleast give you an idea on what our working with.

yea you just want to watch for magnesium or calcium lockout as wells tend to have hard water and just be ful of extra minerals and what not and since you wont be checking tds or anything just keep your eyes peeled.

Thanks all, gonna get it tested one more time before the build. PLEASE if anyone has advice on the setup I'm looking at I'd totally welcome any comments/concerns. Basically it's a 9x9 super closet, with the Kind 1000 LEDs.. also a 5x5 for veg and 5x5 for dry. I can't seem to find any comparable grow journals. thanks again either way :D
