Wellbutrin Trip

This is a bit unorthodox way to trip and I've never heard of it before but I experienced it nonetheless. I don't really know how it happened because I don't remember the circumstances that well. From what I do remember, it was right after my dad died and I found a bottle of that shit and took a bunch. Don't ask me why, it was dumb obviously but I'm glad I didn't die.

I don't remember how many I took but I didn't feel anything different at all for a while and then felt a little sick a few hours after I took them and ate dinner. I then proceeded to throw up dinner but it felt GOOD. After that, all I had the desire to do was close my eyes, not to sleep but just lay in the darkness with music and close my eyes.

I did so. After a few seconds I got VERY lucid open and closed eye visuals, not really even visuals. Full on hallucinations but I knew they were false. After a few minutes I realized that I had FULL control over all the visuals and hallucinations. The strange thing was that everything I saw was some shade of green or black.

I've done my fair share of acid and shrooms even DXM but this this was by far the most lucid and moving that I've ever had. This isn't something I'm going to attempt again but I felt like I should share this experience because I found it so abnormal.

Thoughts?

First thought is this is not something that should be posted lol. Cant be good for your liver at all... I wouldnt recommend doing that again.

I tripped hard once on Wellbutrin. I smoked the free base. SLAM. And again, SLAM ... until I simply couldn't figure the lighter out any more. it was a profound experience, but lasting hell on my lungs.
I think I did twelve 300-mg pills (based) in that two-hour session. cn

Did I not say that it was something that I was NOT going to try again? I just felt I should share it because I found it so profound.

I've been looking at Erowid and I've seen some experiences with hallucinations but they were either with scary ass shadow people or they had drank alcohol. My trip was awesome, no shadow people, and I hadn't drank. So I'm still confused hahaa.

hmmm, when I was 14 I once took enough imipramine to kill a person, but it didn't, I just slept for like 2 days straight, but apparently was able to speak during this sleep, then when I awoke I felt dead, and my eyes were like super wide and I had some seriously dilated pupils...

And I have a question, is it possible that you were just having a very long lasting lucid dream, since you took too many of a drug that affects the receptors in the brain---receptors that are linked somehow to dreams...I say this because a warning of wellbutrin is strange dreams...maybe that is what they meant

True, that could have been the case but I don't think it was because I ended up getting up after some point of time and going to talk to my mom and she remembers me doing that as well. Another thing that makes me think I wasn't dreaming is that I imagined myself banging Megan Fox and I could FEEL it all. It was like I was really doing it.

That was the most profound part. It was like thinking about having sex but really feeling all the shit you're thinking about, without actually having a girl with you.

They didn't put mine up either. I was very surprised.

so i was outta budz, my buddy outta town... anyways I feel lik having a rush. Had a bottle of them took the out side layer off crushed the hell out of them. I'm not sure the amont, possibly 3-4 300mg over an hour maybe 2 snorted in roughly small bumps.(Just saying anyone who reads this be aware wellbutrin will burn to an extent some people find it uncomforting... So I don't advise it, unless you already know you can handle a burn... So any way after 1 to 2 hours could have been longer wasn't keeping time, Stared tripping ballz! I couldn't believe the joy and hallucinations instantaneously came strong and I was in complete control of myself and the hallucinations. So got comfi with the lights out played some music and blame I was in heven on earth in a dark room visualising whatever popped into my head, or imagined. I'm not sure why wellbutin produced a trip but I'm glad i did, Most enjoyable trip I had ever had. Never thought wellbutin would = bust trip Iv'e had, I', no doc, but a possibility that wellbutrin ,is an antidepressant, @ high dose; I believe produced an euphoric high.

WELL IF YOU ENJOY HALLUCINATING AND CAN HANDLE AN INTENSE NASEL BURN AND WISH TO TRY PLEASE TRY TO BE SAFE AND NOT AN IDIOT, even though I'd think You'd have the intelligents that you know what your doing. Some people these days...

Isn't wellbutrin what you're given by a dr. AFTER you do real psychedelics?

Wellbutrin is 3-chloro-N-tbutylcathinone. Not one that would get picked for recreation, but certainly it could be active in massive doses. Not that I'd reccomend it.

Cathinone? Isn't that the root of some r.c.'s?..and anything in large enough doses will cause some reality distortion I suppose..but welbutrin? Is to close to eating a handfull of cloracetin or nyquill for me.

Yes the cathinone structure forms the basis of a lot of drugs these days. The t-butyl group on the nitrogen fucks activity pretty hard but I could see it in large enough doses.

Necro posting? Haha, I still remember this experience and how awesome it was. Not something I want to try and recreate though for sure. I happen to like my liver.

So if u neutralized the tbutyl, then just n cathinone..resulting in a stronger product? Just curious..I'm no chemist but I do cook food
