Amazon has them but I would think it would be a waste of money. I own Advanced Platinum LEDs and would recommend them but those are the only kind I have ever had. Good results with them though...expensive but good.

What type of light meter are you wanting, just a par meter to measure micromoles or a spectrometer to analyse wavelength, one cost a few bucks and the other is probably out of your price range.

Ive see people use apps and attachments to turn their mobi phone into a basic light meter...

Your making a simple light choice way to complex but i dont blame you when looking at leds.

I can pull pretty accurate spectrum graphs from most decent lights without buying a spectrometer and lumens or par meters arent that exspensive. It is however very hard to judge an led light without buying and trying it first and the led forum wasnt exactly packed with reviews and hard data on many lights.

I think i read that certain meters read led better but it wasnt somthing that i looked into much.

OK I have 2 apps loaded on my phone free. Spectrum and par. Only issue is now. . I need to buy the ( lp) adapter. That hooks to my phone tool measures the light. Idk where the heck to find this or what its actually called

Im guessing it will take some searching and reading to find the meter and use it, im not down with the mobile phone apps and attachments unfortunatley but i believe some must have posted Youtube vids which might explain it better...

Remember too without them being in your grow area the results are not as accurate.

I'm sure it grows. Pled has shady business practice. They are trying to rip off the Advance name. They also use a lot of marketing hype. Pled is no different than any other no name led panel.

Why not go cob? Plenty have tested cobs here and know how they perform. Others have tested them with meters here.

You wont do any better than cobs.

right I am currently looking into cob . the cost is killing me . 1 good cob is 22 or so a good power supply is 25 to 30 a fan and relector unit to hook this cob into 15 bucks . and it add up quickly almost cheaper buying one assembled . so a 600 watt cob unit will cost .370 bucks it will be a 600 watt true light . before I drop 2 or how I am drop 6 k on lights I want to buy 1 unit test it before I go all in . I have a cheap meizhi and its killing the veg seriously impressed I want to measure the par on that and my hps and order a cob set up just 1 unit so I know what the best solution for this money killer upgrade

I get that cobs cost. You are planning on buying a meter. Others have done the work and we know how cobs perform. Save the money and don't buy a meter and spend that on cobs.

Not much of a question. Either go cob or stick with hid. If not going cob there is really no need to switch from hid. You will be disappointed on mono leds.
