Baby Dick Loser: you should still be able to find all the things you need at The Home Depot, Lowe's, and most hardware stores with a good electrical selection. Places like Ace Hardware are pretty good bets too. You might even want to consider building something like SeeMoreBuds shows on pages vi,vii and viii in his book, "MARIJUANA BUDS FOR LESS GROW 8OZ. OF BUD FOR LESS THAN $100." The only thing he doesn't show you is how to hang it but a PVC frame should work.
Have you considered using a rack of T-5's? You can get them on line or at almost any hydro store and there's a good selection of tubes on the market for vegging and flowering. They come in 2' and 4' lengths with fixtures that have 4 tubes, 6 tubes, 8 and 10. With a 2' fixture four tubes wide you could light up a number of plants, (more than you could with just 2 curly CFL's).
You can support a rack of T-5's from a simple 1" PVC plastic pipe frame and hang them with chain from The Home Depot. T-5's are still cheap to run too. I hope that helps. HSA
