I mixed 2 bags of ocean Forrest with 1 bag of happy frog and a bag of light warrior. I Added a cup per cubic foot of soil of Garden lime.. 6 lbs of Ewc. 3 lbs of Blood meal. And 1.5 lb of bat guano.. I wanted to also add some kelp meal and some aZomite maybe some bone meal. Any thoughts?

Am I a dumbass ?

no sounds good.. id run the bone meal too but are you burning that off? its going to be pretty hot.. or are you layering it?

Yea I'll cook it for a month.at least.im not sure if I'll layer it..I still need to cut it with perlite. .. I might just throw extremely established plants into it.

bat guano in some cases is pointless id go with something other than that its really short term feed wise.. seabird guanos a bit different and has more beneficial crap in it... IMOP but its expensive.. id supplement that with something like a palletized chicken manure its more beneficial and last longer feed wise.

the garden lime is semi needless in your mix also outside of ocean forest (because its ph adjusted) the amendments your adding won't change your base PH. and if i remember right happy frog is PH neutral so you should be good without it if anything maybe sulfur to drop the happy frog ph a bit ... but id make sure of happy frogs ph before you adjust it.. it may be slightly acidic already..

but IMOP i would next time drop happy frog replace it with roots organic or something like that.. lucky dogg even... actually if you use lucky dogg instead of happy frog it would lighten the soil a lot and then you wouldn't need the addition of light warrior.

Seabird guano sounds good..I'll go with that. Steemed bone meal. Azomite.what about rock phosphate? Should I add some? And what about the kelp meal? Add it or naa?

kelp has benefits but generally it runs like 1-0-1 max and three pounds runs like 19$ sometimes depending on locations so its a toss up.. it has a lot of beneficial stuff outside of nitrogen though..

theres some organic garden food mixes that have kelp as part of the mix. i can't remember who though i wanna say JOBES organics

Ocean Forrest is fine on its own for a month or so.. ph tends to fluctuate during flower... it gets extremely unstable imo...I was even thinking of adding more oyster shell just in case..I like the light warrior because of all the bacteria that comes in it.

Should I add some garden tone?

yeah i know i am anti ocean forest personally.. too many issues with it but there benefits too on the other end

stay away from oyster shells unless your buying SUPER FUCKING EXSPENSIVE stuff it almost always carries bugs. and on top of that a lot of people are now selling crushed coral as oyster shells ... i know anywhere around here only sells feed grade and feed grade oystershells is loaded with bugs.

the last thing you wanna do is plant and three days later come to burnt up clones.. smarter to say drop the garden tone and run your soil in like one gallons in veg then transplant to 3-5 gallons pack new fresh soil and and rock flower.

look for Chick magic.. use that instead of garden tone I'm telling you its an amazing additive i wanna say its a 2-3 month release. i may be wrong but its all organic only down side is smell but its worth it. much better than tone.
