what carbon filter should i go with?

well its either a 6inch, 500mm phresh, carbon type: rc-48

or 6 inch, 500mm CAN filter with carbon type: CKV4-light

whats better CKV4-light or rc48? both same price, im thnking the phresh?

I run 10-12 plants in flower at a time and filter my drying closet with the grow room and my 6" Phresh Filters have both passed the 2 year mark and still work. My pot growing heater guy was here to check the furnace and did not smell my garden or closet.

My backup has been sitting in the box for a whole year now. :-)

Tip: shake the filter a bit from time to time to help increase the carbons usable surface area. I bang on the side and disturb it so it breaks up and moves around a little in there.

Thanks for info, exactly what I wanted to hear and I'm planning on doing exactly that :-) :-) having the flower room scrub my drying area as well:-)

I use the closet in the converted spare bedroom with hanging cords at the top and a dark curtain to keep light out. The exhaust fans pull the humidity out of the closet through the curtain. It gently pulls and sways. Works real well. Just a small day/night temp difference but great humidity control and environment for the drying branches.

Good luck
