What causes headaches?

I smoked some bud that a friend gave me. I took like 3 huge hits and got super high. After a couple of hours I felt a slight headache coming on and a half hour or so later i had a full blown pounding headache.. i also felt sick and dizzy and It was the most unpleasant ive felt smoking a top grade strain ever. What did it?

Any weed will give you a headache if you smoke enough of it.

any number of things could of gave you a headache, dehydrated, lack of food, stress....I get migraines, weed intensifies(SP) my migraines no matter how good or bad it is, but bomb weed takes my headaches away 99% of the time and bomb weed never gives me headaches.

Man, sometimes weed is grow with a lot of pesticides and chemicals even if its dank shit and it taste really good. Also, sometimes if the weed is exposed to a lot of light or heat before you get it the pyschoactive cannabinoids break down into acidic, non-pyschoactive cannabinoids that can give you a headache. Not saying either one of these is the case for you, but definately possibilities.

never had that happen, 'cept from horrible weed.

A buddy showed up once with some of that legal "Bud" & the migrane I got from that was monumental. won't do that ever again !

Weed that has not been flushed right can cause head aches,but it is normaly the weed that is done in the houses that are like factorys they feed any shit to there plants that is why the goverment should legalize the stuff so cannabis use would be less likey to be ripped off by buy stuff with all kinds a shit in one trick they do is put fibre glass in to look like thc wankers.put these fuckers out of buissnes and grow your own.

chlorophyl, nute deposits, and im high right now but cmt ? crt ..? another chemical in the plant, ranked as a + and - in every strain, dont remember what its called, but one act as an anti depressant, and the other burns you out.

Chlorophyl can be pushed out by sweating in between drying and curing, by placing in a garbage bag for 12 hours, than hung for 12 hours and repeated.

Nutrients need to be flushed from the plant after the 6th or 7th week, cut this time in half by using molasses water to flush.
These contaminants make weed harsh and result in headaches ..

Obviously mold is an issue as well, mold will give bad headaches and lung and respiratory issues.
