What causes more stem in your buds?

when you buy weed sometimes its got allot of small scrony stems in it, whats the cause? how do i prevent my plants from having these little stems?

i know that, but im talking like a main stem through the bud then a few scrony stems that come out around it too.... most good weed doesnt have these extra stems, its mostly in outdoor i guess..... im just curious as to what causes it ?

its probly the stems that supported the leaves coming out of the buds, and the grower didnt snip all the way down tot he main stem. leaving a little stem poking out of the main stem through the bud so to speak. thats what i think it would be

for sure, i was just saying the cause of his question. why bud that he buys has stems poking off the main stem.

you got it. a poor trim job will also leave a lot leaves on the bud. if you remove all extra stems and leaves it is called a connoisseur cut.

i would say thats probly the culprit. i mean your going to have stems no matter what, thats what the leaves and buds are grown on right? as long as u take ur time trimming and pick out all the stems from the leaves off the buds u shouldnt have a problem. i see it that the grower where u bud came from probly was growing alot, and didnt have the time/patience to sit down and carefully manicure every little aspect u know? i know if i was sitting in front of like 5 lbs that i had to trim i would probly be overlooking alot of little stems. trimming takes forever.

that kinda shit is all i can find in my town, it pisses me off haha, thus the reason for joining this site! no more little stems and seeds flatter than paper

lol what u mean email? that u aint got 5 lbs sittin in front of you? if so why the hell not man? who doesnt have 5 lbs of harvested buds ready to trim everyday? duh?

lol but u know what i mean. it takes like 6 hours to properly trim one pound. so your ganna be sittin there for 30 hours to properly trim 5 lbs. hands would start to hurt. lol oh well. gotta sacrifice sometimes right?
