What causes these U shaped fans?

Seen it once or twice before but this plant has a bunch.

That looks like localised wind stress to me. That leaf may be catching the brunt of a fan in there?

Is that what it is?

I always thought n clawing was just the tips but I could see the whole thing doing it too.


I checked the airflow and it’s not getting any more than the others but I’m keeping an eye on it.

If the leaves look like they're clawing but aren't exactly exhibiting N toxicity, does that possibly mean the roots are too wet too often? Like, not quite overwatering but borderline?

It’s in coir fed daily under led.


This plants genes aren’t great, it grew very slowly and had some weird stuff with double leaves and little branches sprouting randomly.

It’s doing ok now aside from the weird leaves.

Ive seen single leaflets wilt out dead and rest of plant not a thing wrong with it. No clue what causes it...i have seen what you have from windy days. If it it was Nitro issue i would think whole plant would display symptoms. Maybe she just woke up angry at you.
