What CFL lights do i buy

i want to grow in a small area with cfls and im not sure what bulbs to buy and also how many i will need can someone help and also its only going to be 2 plants

get 2 or 3 - 23 watt daylights to grow and then add about 4 more softwhite's at the same wattage when you switch to 12/12 time ... the more the better during flower tbh ......

it also depends of the size of the box, should be around 50000lm per square meter for flowering

Just look for CFL's in the 5000K-6500K for your vegging, that's blue light. Then get the 2700K-3000K for your flowering, that's your red spectrum light.

You don't need A LOT of light for veg. You could run ~60+ watts of 5000-6500k (light spectrum) CFLs and probably get by fine.

Budding for CFL's can suck. You'll need 2700k (light spectrum, again) for this. The more watts, the better, as long as you can keep heat under control. Canopy penetration with CFLs isn't as good as HPS (for obvious reasons), but it can be done. Just remember, get a lot of watts of light, and try and keep the light surrounding the plant. Don't just hang your bulbs overhead, as this doesn't reach the bud sites.
