What cloudy/amber ratio on auto viking ak47?

The breeder said to harvest when 80-90% amber tricomes for stronger high or 50-60% amber for weaker but more "head" high.

As far as I've read all over the internet you dont want to much amber because it is just degenerated thc which is not wanted.

You guys have any input about this? Any of you who have grown this strain?

not all auto's will amber
its easier to go by the hairs turning orange when almost all of them recede back to the pod its in the zone
or some go by when the fans yellow in flower if you go by the fans yellowing you have around 2 weeks from when they start to cannibalize the fans

ya i have let my autos go a few wks over and they still only had a few amber here and there.. i basically do the same thing.. when most of the hairs have turned and the plant seems to have slowed flower production to almost unnoticeable.. i cut them.. i try to let them run over by at least a wk or two

It's all personal preference... degraded thc turns into cbn which is a helpful compound. So, literally, I can't be more literal. IT IS PERSONAL PREFERENCE. It's amazing. YOU get to decide (more or less) the ratio of body high to head high. I assume you know the general effects that various trich colors carry - so the rest is up to you. And this goes for every single strain btw.

Cbn is not cbd!
Cbd has a binding affinity some 9 times higher...cbn is largely not psychoactive it takes 9 times the volume to even feel effects compared to what it came from...and its not cbd....what? Not cbd!
It does not give couch lock....it causes the messed up high, memory loss and mental confusion..unable to do a basic math problem..it causes the burnt out feeling after smoking all day
It does not have the medicinal properties of cbd.....it is not cbd

If you want couch lock or anxiety relief etc get an indica....if you want to ruin the potency of tour herb trying to replicate cbd with a degraded compound that's similar go ahead.....don't tell people its anything like cbd....some of us might actually care about the medical properties or the true facts here...... .
Thc doesn't even degrade to cbn it turns to delta 8, cbn arises from metabolic/enzyme processes overtime...it forms in freezing conditions unrelated to thc degredation...your destroying the terpenes and destroying your bud..denaturing it to shit

CBD has a painkiller effect
CBN makes you sick to your stomach in high doses
CBD accelerates the intake of THC
CBN is degraded THC

if you want less of a head high out of a auto then a sativa dominant plant may not be the right choice
