What Deficiency Is This?

I will be switching to flower in maybe two weeks. How am I doing so far? Left to right we have: jtr, white widow x big bud (white cup), super lemon, cheesquake, querkle. Just a little worried about the browning on the cheesequake and querkle although I do think it is from me getting newt water on the plants and not drying it off...

That fan there directly on the plants on a timer or something or do you have it blowing on them? I'd say that fan is super fucking overkill, u want a oscilating fan. Are you PHing your water?

With that fan my temps are at 84, but that is only because of the recent cold front, normally the temps are 89-93 with the fan. I have a cool tube on the way though....

yeah the fan is a little LARGE for those plants you have. get a 6 inch oscillating fan. looks like some nitrogen burn possibly. also keep your temps 70 night and around 80 during the light time.

84 degrees does not work for me.... I always keep my temps below 80 when lights on.... And always above 68 degrees lights off....... One thing that i noticed is that u need to stop letting ur leaves touch the soil.... This can cause mold... And u dnt want none of that... Trim ur leaves if u have to...

no you shouldn't cut any leaves as they are the source of food/energy for your plant. maybe put something over the top of the soil to keep the leaves off of it.

i agree that cutting leaves is bad, BUT if you cut as part of a pruning strategy it can benefit when done correctly.

I have cut and not cut etc over a few different grows and experienced positive and negative effects with both scenarios.

If you are cutting to potentially stop mould due to leaf positioning/proximity to medium then cut .


On all my plants depending on size the stems are stripped clean from 3-9inches off the top of my medium, which helps keep air from becoming stagnant between the medium and the plant.

If you're not scroging why would you even consider taking out the leaves? just cutting the lower branches would do the trick IMO

I went ahead and cut maybe three fan leaves off of the two bigger plants, just to allow light to other bud sites...

My plants seem to be doing fine right now even though the heat is still in the 90's. I have seen a good amount of new growth in the past week...Wish me luck....
