What do I need in a grow tent?

Hi everyone I'm wanting to find out what do I need in a grow tent. I have 1 plant growing in soil with 110w cfl bulb. I'm finally upgrading from my homemade box. I've done some reading but can't find something that tells me exactly what I need. I'm also planning on cloning my plant that's my main reason for the tent

you don't need a grow tent for cloning, they are for budding. I clone in a small cloner on a shelf in my basement with fluorescent tubes. No ventilation is needed for clones. Grow tents have air intake vents around the bottom and exhaust vents around the top. In my 4 x 4 tent I have...2 fans for air movement, 3 plants in 5 gal pots, 420cfm carbon filter(odor elimination)hooked up to the 600w hood with 6'' vinyl ducting. The hood is then connected to the other side to another 6'' vinyl flexible duct that goes to the 6'' inline booster fan that pulls all the filtered air into the atic. Always use your inline fans to pull air, not push it.

You will need lighting.
4x4 600w min. No 400, no 250,,,,,600w min for quality results.
5x5 1Kw and don't skimp.....
Skip all the "claims". This is the best ballast brand I have EVER used! Quantum,,sadly, they are getting hard to find.....So then, my next choice is.....(I just used these through out a new grow and am very pleased with them....no screwing up my wireless/bluetooth/security monitors).

The nice thing about the Galaxy besides the LOW RF is that they dim to WATTS and NOT a %. So these will run 400,600, and 1000 watt bulbs at the proper setting!

A light hood (air cooled) should be used in a tent to "help" reduce temps. Most likely you will want to put this tent IN an air conditioned room.
A square hood works best for a square tent. This is a nice one for 4x4 and 5x5 tents.

Now you must add ducting from outside the tent to the hood and then from the hood to the fan that draws the air through for the cooling effect.
These are very nice as they have 3 settings for proper air flow.

Ducting,,,use this.

You NEED to have a dust filter on the intake (keeps the inside of the hood clean for better light quality).

Worry about smell? Then add a Carbon filter. Mount the filter in the tent and "pull" the air through it. (This is your exhausting of air from the tent. Don't care about smell? You still need to exhaust the air - skip to the fan.)
They have kits with fans.

Or not.
For general use, Can-Filters are ideal for tackling the problem of odors in a living area . Effective treatment requires the exchange of air in the growing or living area in a period of 5 minutes. Use the total cubic feet to be filtered and divide this number by 5 to determine the proper filter size needed.
If you go this route. You will need a fan for it. See the Fan listed above for the hood!

Now you need a fan to move air around in the tent.

This is nice to have...Temp/RH thermometer.......this one has a remote sensor you should keep AT canopy level!

These are the things you need for a tent grow. Cutting corners lowers results.
Buying no name Chinese knock-off shit will cost you MORE in the long run!!!!

You got in to a hobby that ain't cheap to start!
You don't want to know what I just spent on building a new, complete stand alone grow facility.

Good luck
