What do you guys think the best Hps bulbs are? 600w and1000w?

Trying to decide what kind of hps bulbs are the best? I would appreciate the help thanks. Also what is a super hps?

super hps is a marketing term...

eye hortilux is good.
CAP digilux are good, as well.

I see lumatek bulbs burn out a lot.

SUPER HPS puts out usually 5000 more lumens from the standard,

Standard 600w hps 90,000 lumens
Super 600w hps 95,000

Standard 1000w hps 140,000
Super 1000w hps 145,000 (i think)

Over all per watt 600's are the most efficient.

If you have 3kw of 600's 450,000 lumens
if you have 3kw of 1000's 420,000 lumens

Best magnetic= EYE hortilux or hortilux Blue

Best digital= Digilux

Best 400watt bulb= Ceramic MH

Best 600w ballast= Dual by Lumatek

Best 600w magnetic ballast= CAP because they power 600w MH bulbs, they also sell the only 600w mh bulb on the market
