Hello,

I was away for about 4 days. My girls were watered with plain water and I watered them again today with full strength nutrients 7-3-5(recommended dosage). They stretched more than I anticipated they will (I was thinking since I see small buds they will stop growing) and they were really close to the lights.
Now, I see some ugly damage to the leaves and I would like to hear your opinion about it. And also some ideas of what should I do.

On the lower leaf does she develop nutrinet(P) def? Should I change on flowering (>P) nutes?

I was thinking of trying some LST on the top to be sure it will not reach the light again (I have to leave for 2 days) and for the lower branches to catch up.

I would like to know if you think I should prune some of the lower leaves for better air circulation or not?

I would like to know your opinion on what to do especially because I have to leave for 2 days and I can't be there for them.

Thank you

I would like to add that I used the recommended dosage. 1 cup for 3 liters. I could say I used 1 cup on 4 liters. I watered with nutes yesterday. The damage started 3 days ago as I am told. Well I don't know what it means set them back. They are autos... I don't think they will recover or give so much now if they got hurt :( But you are saying its nute burn not light burn?

NEXT time when it says add 8 oz of nutes... add 2 oz...and mix with water

NEVER GO FULL STRENGTH....
Test anything that you put on your plants, at 1/4 to 1/8th strength...
If the burnt leaves are bothering you, pick them off...
Water with plain PH good water....
Nurse them back...
Good luck...

Ok, I understand that about nutes. But they were like that before I used full strength. They started to look like that after watering with plain water and they got too close to the lights.

1 cup = 20 ml
I use 15 liter pots with cocoa soil and perlite. The soil is about 5.2-6.3 PH and the water I use is around 7. The exit water pH is around 6.3.

One cup is 250 ml. one tablespoon is 15 ml. What brand of coco are you using? Are you adding any cal-mag. I never run more than 10 ml per gallon through my coco.

Well I didn't add any cal-mag(how much should I give them? 1/2 of the recommended dosage?). I think I have to go this week-end and get some flowering nutrients(>P now I have 7-3-5) and cal-mag nutrients. I got some soil from Germany. It was the most expensive one I could find. :( Cal-mag I hope I can find in pet shops at the fish department. I didn't find anything for growing anywhere :(

What else should I buy for them?

Thanks

I really can't tell you much without knowing what is in your coco to start. If you really did use a cup of ferts to the gallon i would run at least 5 gallons of water through it immediately!

Hi,

we have different measuring standards. I used ~38 ml of nutrient to 5,5 liters of water. But again. They started to look like that before I used nutes.

Ok. I do understand the metic system. I was just trying to help you out but not knowing if your coco's pre treated or what's in your fertilizer nobodys going to be able to help you. We can guess but that's all it would be. Personally i would never go over 20 ml per 5.5liters.

Ok, what should I say about the soil? What info would be helpfull? I don't have the packaging anymore but I can go and see in the shop.

Trim away all damaged vegetation including bud tips. Just chopped a White Skunk that this happened to. When I clipped the end of that young bud off it oozed clear resin that turned brown in hours. The thing fimmed. It grew a cauliflower bud I nicked "Big Ugly". Damaged, dead or dying plant materials are welcoming hosts to problems.
