What do you recomend?

Sry, I can't find it. I will take a picture of the bag. And a picture from the nute bottle too. Do you recommend to flush now?

Well I flushed it with about 6 liters of water (about 3 times as much as I use feeding. Should I use more?) as more of the new leaves started showing burns on the sides. But only those near the light. I could have been that after my HPS is turning off, my vent will turn off after 15 mins. It is a mechanical timer and it could have developed a delay. So my HPS still hot could have burned the leaves. I could be P def also because my PH could have been 6-6.3 (as seen in the runoff water. I have a kit that is not that great with dirty water :( the one where you get 5 ml of water and put 4 drops of solution and wait 3 mins). What PH tester do you recommend? Or what type? Electronic, with the paper or is it ok this one with the liquid?

So I read in a flush topic that I should use 3 gal of water for every gal of soil. I pretty much under did it... What should I do? Let the soil dry 4 days and re-flush? And the fist drops of the run off water tell the real PH? As in that is the real PH that roots get?

Is the ph test, the one with the paper pieces, accurate? I can't read the one with the liquid that I am using because the water is dirty from the soil.

How much runoff did you get. That is not enough water. Put another 6 liters through it now. You either have organics mixed in your coco or your nutes or your coco was not washed well. My coco run-off runs almost clear after the fist week of feeding just a tinge of yellow but my nutes mix clear. PH 6.3 is not to high for coco but not optimal.

I suspect you have several things going on in your grow. Pot size for a auto in coco ( I grow 3' indica's in 2 gal pots) i believe your in 3.5 gal pots. Your Coco,Your Nutes ( I don't know anything about them). I will try to help you but i only know what works for me.

Hi,

I got around 1 liter or runoff. I watered slow. Today her pot fel so light. It's like I didn't watered for 4 days... I am looking for a Ca-Mg solution but I can't seem to find any. I will take a picture of the nute bottle tonight and show it to you.

I attached some pictures with the ... damage. In the first picture I have a new plant, about 3 weeks old that I was told shows signs of damage. I asked for a picture so here it is:2013-03-05 14.18.38.jpg

What do you think about the 2 older ones? They started to slow down with the leaf burn but still. I don't know what to think. It could be Ca-Mg def or nute burn or light\heat burn:

Hello,

no I don't. It is true that I used tap water left 2 days but I used it before and this didn't happen. I left 2 20 buckets for tomorrow to flush again. My problem is that I can't seem to find any Ca-Mg solutions. And the flowering nutes come with 3-8-5 and such. Nothing higher. Does it matter the NPK ratio? I mean 3-8-5 is the same as let's say 6-16-10? What should I aim for when I buy nutrient solutions?

I see a site that can ship nutes from: Advanced nutrients, Canna, House & Garden, Adjust-a-wing, BAC, BIO-bizz, Hy-Pro, Aptus. But I don't know what brand is good and what to buy from them. I can't seem to find too much info from my searches.

Go to the growers forum and read up on coco grows. coco is inert so your nutes need to have all availiable macro an micro elements in them. For calcium you can take egg shells and grind them up really fine and add them to some water and let it sit for a day.and use thet water for a calcium additive. for mag you can go to the pharm and pick up some epsom salts and use a 1/2 teaspoon to a gallon of water for your mag. I use botanicare CNS-17 for my coco at half the recommended rate max.

Ty Jarvild. I will try with the egg shells and epsom salts. I was looking everywhere today except the farmacy =)) but I didn't find anywhere. And I can get molases from only one place but in about 2 weeks :|

I got some flowering nutrients 4-6-6 + 0.06 Bor (B) 0.003 Copper (CU) 0.021 Iron (FE) 0.011 Mn 0.001 MAlibden and 0.005 Zinc. Nothing that has Mg or Ca :(. I also got some slow release nutrient bars NPK 9-7-7.8 becouse they have some magnesium oxide MgO 2%. These are the bars that release with every watering for 2 months. Are these nutes ok?

Well, I tried to mix epsom salts, some egg shell and some flowering nutes. I raised the PH to around 7 with baking soda from around 6. When I tested the runoff it was towards 6 :| Should I go 7.5 next time? The runoff should be around 6.5?

I use full strength with my dyna-gro nutes and never got yellowing or nute burn. 1 tsp per gallon.

I guess I have to get and electronic PH tester... This liquid tester is too... "accurate" I am worried about the PH difference between the water going in and the water coming out... And now I see a couple of leaves that show some PH dmg.

*It's also VERY IMPORTANT to remember that when growing in Coco, you MUST pH at Hydroponic levels in the 5.5-6.0 range. pH ranges higher than this will result in plant deficiencies and nutrient lockout!

Yes :( I have to read the whole thing (crazzy.... 94 pages :| and it's with 40 posts on page :( ). I post something 2 days ago and no answer...

You don't have to read the Whole thing just the first two pages to understand how coco works
