I have Been doing tga the vortex for a few runs. I usually pi K them around 55-62 days. I have noticed that up tell about 53 days.. .ish they are very sticky to the touch. Like if I touch a flower my fingers will stick together. Now after about 53 days there almost not stcky to the touch at all. Although once u start trimming they are sticky inside. Anyone Know what this means?

When you touch the bud, you're pulling off the trichomes. This is the stickiness you're feeling. My advice; don't do this.

Care to tell me what you are talking about doing the "pi K" or whatever.

If you actually don't know what a "sticky bud" is you are a troll or 12 years old. Probably both.

I think this is a legit question.
i dont know the answer other than maybe the thc dries out a little bit on the outsides of the buds causing it to be a little less sticky?
idk

as dope reaches the end of it's life cycle, un-pollinated calyxes (your sensimilla buds) reach their peak of potency, and then the trichomes and their resinous pollen catching glands begin to deflate, degrade and fall off.

if your calyxes get fertilized by pollen they immediately stop producing resin glands, and start making seeds.

thats why most dope growers watch their trichomes, if you wait too long to harvest, whether seeded or sensimilla, youll have a heavier harvest weight but less potency, if you wait too long, your dope will just suck.

harvest when it's stickiest and youll get higher. only shitty cashcroppers wait till bud size has peaked, since at that point resin production is long since stopped, and your dope is just getting bigger, not better.

also earlier harvest have more THC (happy fun times) and less CBD (couch-lock funnyun cravings) while later harvest have more CBD, and less THC in their resin.

if you want more CBD, it's best to find a strain that does it naturally than try and harvest post-peak dope.

generally:

Sativas = more THC less CBD
Indicas = less THC more CBD

TLDR version: if your buds are getting less sticky, then youre waiting too long to harvest.
sticky buds make you fly higher. buds picked past their prime are just bigger, not better.

Edit: sorry, my buds are quite sticky so my brain is quite fucked up.
