I dont know exactly if this is true but I read the other day that you should chop right before the light goes on because at night the plant stores all of its sugars and starches inside of the root mass at night and once the light goes on the sugars and starches move up to feed the buds. If you cut it before light, the plant wont feed your buds as much leading to a quicker dry and cure. Some people that do this right only have to properly cure their plants for a week or less. I will try to find the link to which post it is on. It is a very big article on flushing harvesting and curing I found very informative.
