What happens if you don't take the lid off the greenhouse and maybe take it off for maybe 5 mins a day??

the plants are just seedlings. The problem i i go to work everyday at 6 and its too cold still in the morning cause the sun doesn't come over the mountain untile like 615 or 630 so i don't want to take the lid of and then i don't have a chance to get it back on for overnight so i think i'm better of leaving it on during the day and it gest super nice and warm in there. Will they still grow and/or go in vegatative if there in there? they still seem to be rooting but they extremely healthy. especially considering we had a frost. The plants didn't get frosted tho cause they were in the greenhouse.

are you talking about a hum dome for cloneing, if so nothing at all. and if your talking about an actual green house then the answer is yes it will during flowerif you do not have adiquit air curculation and exhaust.

There's a super easy solution

At hardware stores they sell these auto-openers. They work with fluid (dunno what it's called in English) expanding as the temperature rises, thus pushing a lever that opens up your lid/vent

And as the temp goes down, it shrinks and shuts the lid down

Personally, I have an always-ventilated greenhouse - just because I want my plants to be strong due to huge temp drops in the flowering period.

no i was just talking about a little greenhouse that you use for cloning except i'm using it for starting my seedlings in. As soon as it gets warm enough and they get big enough and i transplant them then obviously they will be out in the fresh air.
