Black Domina and Super Crystal sounds promising based on some of the reviews that I've read along with your recommendations.
Any other ideas while I'm looking more into these two?
I dont wtf is going on.. Domina making a resurgence? Are they STILL using that gimmicky write up about " This plant oozes sticky resin and leaves many a man whipped and beaten and begging for more", from Cannabis culture circa 2000.
You will be the second person in a week Ive pleaded with to pick another strain. Ive grown this strain twice from 2 seperate batches of seeds. The phenos unrelated... The plant looks great, kinda gets you off.. at least does the trick.. but its the taste and smell.. like a cucumber. Both sets of seeds of regular stock.. they all smelled like vegetation or cucmbery wheat grass. Right through flower, to cured.. cured made them a BIT better.. but it was like a peppery cucumber.
I still have seeds of Black Domina and Domina X Sensi star .. The DxS are still in the breeders pack and never been popped because the first 2 tries at Domina were dismal failures.
Look for a Diesel or a white strain.. a GREAT beginner plant is Great White Shark from Greenhouse seeds.. but you'll have MUCH better success and more stable genetics from Mr. Nice Seeds.. the Exact same genetic strain, the original mothers or the greenhouse strain are at Mr. Nice and they are sold under the name, Shark Shock. I LOVED this strain when I was learning as its super forgiving, easy to grow, and has great production value of frosty nugs. The buds are truly coated in white chunky crystal above and below the leaf. Does excellent indoors and surprisingly, it kicked ass outdoors in Canada! Been growing 20+ years and this is in my top 5 strains for sure. Theres alot of fancy hybrids out there right now but my personal advice is to get a few grows under your belt before you get into the harder to keep plants. just my .02
please stay away from Domina though...
SHARK SHOCK : This is definitely the most successful breed of the late 90's, since its inauguration by Shantibaba as great white shark. It has genetic heritage equally as famous and has been awarded a multitude of cannabis cups under the names of the peace- maker and the great white shark. It has parents that are equally well known as white widow ( a brazilian sativa combined with a south Indian hybrid) and Skunk#1. It is a pleasure to watch this plant grow into a densely compacted white skunk with extreme aromas! Equally pleasurable to use and strickly tested ONLY ON HUMANS! We never use our products on ANIMALS! Expect a yield indoors of between 500-600 grams per square metre. When cultivating this variety outdoors, then expect a 50-56 day flowering cycle. In the northern hemisphere harvest in September to early October, and in the southern hemisphere in March to early April. A TRUE-BLUE champion, from the JAWS OF LIFE!!!
