What is killing my plants?

Hello,

I'm a first time grower and something destructive appeared on all of my plants leaves.

At first I had some rusty brown spots on the leaves, so I started supplying calmag, and thought all of my problems were gone.

But a white 'spots' on my plants leaves started appearing. I thought it could be remains of water on the leaves from watering so I let that be. But it started to concern me ever since. Today I looked and saw some holes in the leaves. I looked for pests but did not find any, I'm thinking the holes could be from the white spots on the leaves.

Could anyone help me out here if there is anything that can be done to prevent this from destroying all of my plants? Also what can this be? I'm thinking of powdery mildew but I'm not sure and hope it's not it.

I try to PH my water and supply calmag. Soil is Canna Terra and plants are autos in an indoor setup. RH is at 50%.

Thank you.

canna terra is already fortified with nutrients it says on their site that its rich in N so when you add calmag you’re adding more N with it because all the calmag i’ve ever seen had N in it. you should try giving it straight water for a while.

also use a microscope to check under the leaves and the petioles. you either have bugs or the N abundance destroyed the nutrient flow inside the plant. having too much N is like having diabetes it destroys the “veins” and distrupts water and nutrient translocation.

I think there are a couple of things going on. #1, I agree, you need to scope underneath those leaves-mites are TINY, so look for little specs and try to view them as close as possible. They also look a bit overnuted.

Hello,

I did not spray anything, started using a small amount of Canna Vega two days ago, otherwise I've supplied only the calmag. I'll water with plain PH'd water from now.

Did a bit of examinations with magnifying glass I found at home and found a few TINY black spots. This might be it, but I have to order a much better magnifying glass to make sure, will also order something for the mites problem. I'm thinking of Canna Cure, hopefully it will help resolve the problem..

Thank you all so much!

Magnifying glass is typically not powerful enough to see mites and eggs
Buy a loupe or microscope for your phone
