I believe that there is some intelligence behind our creation, however we also evolve over time. The chances of all processes of life coming about by chance is astronomical, so something had to put together all the little parts that make up life: DNA transcription, process by which we use ATP, and other biological functions. I think the correct term for people who believe this is Theo-evolutionists, maybe.

i could agree but we do have the bubble method and a couple of other ways to test the creation of organic matter from inorganic. after we have organic matter it is only a matter of time until they would have evolved. especially given a billion years or so. i dunno if you have taken micro bio but its amazing how fast simple celled organism can create variations with advantages. some species can "evolve" in a matter of hours. just look at the flu. it mutates faster than we can track it. althought that is a bit different with it being a virus

other than that... to get philosophical, i believe that life is a measure of your interactions/effect on others and your relationship with God (if you so believe).....

Life? There are many variables for life. From the crusts of the Earth, to it's vast oceans and then unto land, the force of our human Evolution has allowed us to conquer many different planes of reality.

I believe life IS Evolution, the evolution of a single celled organism striving to preceive and conquer it's own space with a greater degree of success and certainty.

It is my personal belief that all life was first fueled by an addiction. An addiction to sensory stimuli, it was through this addiction where our Evolution first made it's grasps towards life as we now know it.

Suffice it to say, there are many different things that fueled our Evolution the most simple of which is the Force of Balance in the Universe and even beyond to the parallel universes where we exist in constant flux simultaneously perpetuated by forces of balance. For it is truth that in order for you to exist in THIS reality you must NOT exist in a parallel reality.

It's all governed by a law of balance and contrast.

That being said may I say that I really adore the thread starter, I'm very impressed by your mind in this regard. Great pattern of thought.
