What Is LST, Topping, and Lollipopping?

I am just wondering:
-What Is LST'ing
-What is lollipopping
-What is the point of topping, and is it better to top an outdoor plant with no risk of beeing found?

thanks for all feedback!:!:

lst is low stress training where one ties down plants to keep them shorter and bushier.. it also redistrubutes the main growing hormones to other parts of the plant so that you get more than one main top, or cola..
topping is cutting off the main growing tip and it does pretty much the same as lst by redistrubiting the growth hormones so that you also get more than one main top or cola...
lollitopping is removing all of the lower growth so that you don't get any of the smaller popcorn buds.. some people think this helps the plant focus more on the main tops or colas, i'm not so sure about that one personally..
if you want to keep your plants low and out of site, look into either lst of topping, or both.. supercropping also works well for this too..

lst = bending branches and tieing them in position
lolipop = removal of majority of stem leaves
topping keeps plants shorter and gives multiple bud sites

To top or not is a question you have to answer for yourself. I suggest you spend a week or two learning everything like I did. Read everything you can on this site. Subcool has a great tutorial that will take you all the way through growing cannabis. Soak it up like your life depended on it.

Then you shall no longer be a grasshopper learning to hop. I know its tough but I have much faith in you.

Happy trails

youtube has great guides on each of these and google is a BEAST, buuuuuuuut
it works more or less like this...
low stress training (LST), and super cropping are similar except that one is sweet and nice(making love to your wife) and one is brutal and violent(fucking her sister)
in both instances, upper branches are brought down low to even out the canopy of a single plant.
LST is done over time(minutes to weeks) and super cropping is just done...and intentionally violently so that it heals stronger...
topping is cutting a plant (generally at the 5-7th node(counting up from the bottom starting with the first paired node) off, leaving two brances to become the new top of the plant - poof - 2 cola
Fimming, which you dint ask about is yet another variation on this same theme(there are gazillions)
the point is... there is a chemical in these hookers that goes UP and ONLY UP it continues to go UP until there IS no more UP - at this point, it plants it's little freak flag and claims that nugget in the name of KOLA...
the highest point on a plant defines its apex - not the termination of the mainstem...dig that - so if you get all the branches more or less even, you will receive more or less uniform more or less BEAUTIFUL bagalicious budnuggets - not to be confused with buTTnuggets which just aren't QUITE as good

lollipopping is generally a sea of green trick to achieve a similar goal - you cut off ALL side branching more than a 1/4 inch or so off the mainstem, leaving no option but for the plant to place its energy there, adding to the kola(being pressed into sex with your mother-in-law, who knew about the sisters).

and -NO- the point of growing outdoors is to allow the plant to self actualize, thereby teaching YOU how IT wants to grow - very humbling

I've been experimenting this grow. In the past I just topped and that's it. This year I Fimmed several plants.....not sure if i did it right or not but now have 2 tops with side ones catching up. On several others I used pipe cleaners to tie down the main stalk, then I've been tying down the branches that are growing up above the tied down main. So far I tend to like what that's doing better than topping. The plants are super bushy and low. Not that I am too concerned with height, I'm outdoors, but am curious as to what will happen when they flower.
