Just a simple question, what is one of the best recommend soil to grow with. I am using CFL's idk if that matter or not. But I was told soil make a huge diffrence, I am not going to order stuff offline to grow.
I also would like to know, what tight of Nutrients, and Plant Food I need to get. I will be growing in a 5 gallon bucket. 3 plants one in each bucket.

-So What soil do you highley consider, that I can get at home depot?
-What Nutrients do you highley recommend that I can get at home depot, or a plant nursery I know they have some good stuff, just not sure what?
-What Plant food should I get that will conatin all of the stuff that wont have defiency on. Like mg, zinc, molybdum what ever ealse.

Thanks for reading.

Any soil-less mix mixed with perlite is good and I like Fox farm nutes, although to be honest I used to use Miracle Grow (the red and blue granule shit) and got just as good buds as with Fox Farms.

Edit: Five gallon buckets is pretty damn big for a cfl grow. You could go half that size cuz with cfl they don't penetrate too far down which means you want to keep your plants pretty short. I use the $1.00 green plastic pots from wal-mart just fine. and thats with 600 watt hps. I would use five gallon buckets for outdoor grows with 5 foot bushy ass plants

Edit again: Not the $1 pots the $1.88 green pots

I guess it depends where you live what Home Depot will stock. If you can get it use Premiere Pro Mix HP or BX (the hp has more perlite which is preferred) Peter's and Plant Prod are two good brands of off the shelf nutrients (I use Wal Mart's Plant sMart though, you said Home Depot only)

There's a few folks cutting MGmoisture control w/perlite, etc. and getting excellent veg results . . . a real good starter soil, though possibly a little hot for sensitive seedlings?

Can you please explain to me what perlite is, everyone has said it. I have absolutley no clue what perlite even is.
I could go to any store, wal mart, target, lowes, homedepot. I just though home depot would have the best choices. But any store would be fine.
Right now I am using MG Moisture control, thats what I have been using idk if its any good. but people say mix it with perlite. Again I don't know what perlite is. Please explain. Also Right now I have some just regular pots, that are probably decent size pots they are 7 1/2 inches tall. and 8 inches width at the top. Are those fine or go bigger?

perlite is the little white chunks in sun soils it, it keeps the soil airy and helps with moisture levels, i use PLAGRON lite mix and i would recommend that, just make sure u dont make the mistake of using a soil with loads of nutrients in as well as adding bottled nuts as you could harm your babies

They'll love it I grow with 50 % perlite. Did you know you could recycle it too ? It's true. You dump your soil in a tub of water after the grow and it floats to the top. You skim in it off with a strainer scoop and voila, free perlite !
