WHAT IS ?? The best strains to grow sog indoors ??

Hey rollitupers , long time since I've been on this, so can somebody help me with this vital decision..? I am going to do a sea of green and have 2 600w hps and 7foot by 7 foot space to do so...I don't know what strain to get, I want a strain that has a good yeild ..obviously lol, also one which doesn't have much side branching..initially giving me a main cola... Thanks guys... EcKtOpLaZm.

From my experience: Pot width is the other major factor in restricting side growth.

Even a bushy plant just wont develope much side growth in a narrow container; :lol: like a 2l bottle LOL

So are you saying the narrower the pot the more vertical the growth will be? Also what is a good strain for this type of growing, I'm going to get seeds tonight :D .. Thanks ...

Im sayin the narrower the pot the less horizontal growth, pot depth and veg time have more to do with vertical growth. Both wide and deep pot + time = BIG PLANT.

Most plants can be SOG in my experience. Its all going to depend on pot size, how long you veg, lights etc.

Just choose a strain you like the sound of; i.e Taste, flower time, price, etc etc and remember Sativa dominant plants grow tall whilst the Indicas stay short.... Youll be experimenting anyway, we all have to a bit.

Mosca's 'C99 BX1' is a popular SOG strain. Ive not done it yet myself but read so much about it, I'll do it soon.

Moebius is right, with one exception Air Pots.

I am using a .9G AP and have a ~ 2 X 2 female. Keep in mind, I was not going for sog, but you can def grow a bigger plant in an AP than pretty much any other 1g pot. They also make quart size APs.

jack herer is pretty damn perfect you dont need to veg for more than a week in a sog because they triple- quadruple in size once they start flowering

Thankyou guys for the input, can anyone tell me what size I would need to grow and what size of pots I would need to reach around 1.5 ounces per plant ? I have 2 600 hps with bat wings right next to each other, with an 8 inch outtake fan and a 5 inch intake also 2 oscillating fans.. How many plants could I get in 7ftx7ftx7ft as I says. Reaching around 1.5 pp? Thanks
