Just wondering what is the hottest high PAR light out there that is better than your standard HPS/MH.
Since starting my LED grow, I've noticed that my plant growth rate declined because it was just too cold ! (16c inside grow room, ambient outside is about 14-16.)
I've since turned on 6 x 600hps to warm the room to 30-31c and things are looking better.
I've read the 315LECS' don't really put out much heat, but awesome PAR.
That brings me to GAVITAS. I have no experience with them but from a few posts and 1 video I saw, the Gavitas get pretty damn hot! However, theres a video on youtube with a commercial grower comparing the DE Gavitas and Spyder LEDs and getting roughly 0.7-0.8 gpw with the gavitas? (which is comparable to regular HPS/MH).
If anyone has experience with the gavita DE's or any other hot tech. please share.
EDIT: Forgot to add, i'd rather not use 2000w on a heater when a few lights can heat up the room just fine.
