What is the quickest time a pollen pod can show and do its damage?

I am in day eight of 12/12 under 600hps in flood and drain. I check plants at least once a day and so far can't see any indication of sex. How long from the time a male starts to show until a pod releases its unwelcome load? Or what is the fastest you have ever seen or heard of it happening?

Iv heard stories of balls showing up overnight and spewing its load overnight....but i personally know its possible within 2 days

Thanks for the info. I thought they could show and blow quick but was hoping I would have at least couple of days to spot the pod before it discharges.

I am waiting on five plants to show then I can get rid of the males and the associated clones in the veg room. I cloned for the first time eight days ago, two of each of the five plants now in the flower room and they are all making it so far. I didn't expect to succeed with all of them especially the way some were wilting for a day. If too many of the plants turn female I won't have room for all the clones when there time comes. I may have to find a couple of outdoor spots to plant them.

Pollen sacks can appear and burst within a span of 24 hours.
