What is this and why is this happening?

This is hapening and i dont know why, it begins at the botom and has been slowly moving its way up, it seemed to slow down when i gave the plant some nutients, 700 750 ppm worth of 4 57 and the next day i fed it 400 ppm of the same stuff with some 0 10 10. The plant is in its first week of flower and is 4 feet tall, in soil, FFOF. I flushed the water 2 weeks ago because it was slightly over ferted.

What is this? a deficiency? i dont tink i over fed it, i was told by the person i got them from that he was feeding them 1100 ppm when they were only 3 feet tall, maybe its underfed?

Can someone help?

How is your PH?,

It does not look underfed to me - maybe even close to overfed... it is very DARK... but maybe it can't access the nutrients it needs (Reaver says "potassium") because the pH is off.

Are there roots coming out the bottom ?

Are you flowering ?

Can I see a couple more pictures?

sry i didnt throw some input when i stopped by yesterday...well did u look at the chart of deficiency's? i would suggest going thru that if u didnt, and if u did....go back thru it and read everything! what i can tell you is that i heard u can use the ffof soil threw the whole grow without using any nutes at all with good results, because theres already nutes in it, but since its organic, it takes months to get into the soil...kinda like that whole slow release deal. i use the ffof...knew that this was the case with it, that we didnt need to nute the plant at all, but i still nuted it, and still continue to feed my LA woman heavy. havent seen any signs of burn or anythign thou....
so it is possible that its just some serious ass nute burn. anyone else got any ideas?

Dont think its a deficiency, looks more like a nute burn ... ph might be off... you could be either watering too often or feeding too often... Buffer soil ph by flushing, and start feeding again slowly.. using half the dose it says on the bottle and moving it back up....

When in doubt.. flush.... :)

i had something that looked just like that on my one sourcream, and i was told that it was a potassium def., and after i feed them a few times with my ff nutes they turned right around... i would try giving them a lil higher dosage of nutes than what you are giving them now..

i have the same thing. what happens is. when i transplanted to a bigger pot i used soil with too much nutes in it so the bottom leafs burned. i kept watering with strait water and after a week or 2 all the top new growth was dark green and healthy
it looks like you had the same problem i did. the top is primo right? but the bottom fans are burnt up?

sorry disregard everything i said you grow with hydro. so maybe my bitch aint getti enough potassium too? what can you use to boost potasium alone? any idea? although im pretty sure mine was early burn becvause its not moving up the plant at all.

It is a effecting the older leaves because it is an obvious
mobile nutrient deficiency, which is easy to narrow down,
either N,P,K Zinc, or MG... Definitely not Nitrogen, Phosporous, Zinc
or Magnesium, it would have to be Potassium, when you say
your pH is yellow...... what the hell does that mean? You need to
dial your pH in otherwise just adding Potassium will cause a
salt build up while the nutrient is being locked out due to
pH being out of wack.

if the roots r coming out of the bottom then your roots our bound up too tight. give it just a little bigger pot and and new dirt..

Okay, i tested some water that was sitting at the bottom of the pot and the PPM was 1100, i think im going to feed it normal 6.2ph water with no nutrients tonight and then give it nutes tomorrow, im afriad of over ferting it. Is this a good way to do it? or should i just give it nutrients tonight?

Also, i have to water basically everyday, theyre big and drink a lot of water, should i feed with nutrients every single day? or should i do it only once every few days? Im very afriad of overferting it.

when in doubt... FLush with correct ph water... 3 times the amount of water as the size of the pot so a 3 gallon pot... use at least 9 gallons of water... let it dry out for a few days and start your feeding schedule again...

Okay, i fed it when isaid i was going to with some 500ppm nutrients, which is pretty weak since theyre 4 - 41/2 foot tall monsters, but they LOVED IT, the next day they were perked up and looked happy as hell. The day after i gave them 200ppm and the day after i gave them regular water with no additives. Im going to water tonight with either regular water or maybe 200ppm, then tomorrow reg water, then the day after 500ppm then reg water for 2 days then 800 ppm then reg water for 3 days and so forth until i bump it up to around 1100-1400, sound good?
