I noticed this recently on my little ones and was curious. I know the first one had some heat issues but the rust spots? I have moved the light away (was about 18 inches prior, now 2 feet as of last week) and we have a ph level in the 5.5 range (was a little high the last couple of days for both of these but are good now.)
Nutes are now in the 300 range (were lower prior.) More concerned with the rust patches? And why are the leaves still curling with the lights further away?
