What is with the attitude in the forums?

I know i am new never posted, first i would like to thank the few members that always seem eager to help. There is a wealth of knowledge on this site if you are willing to do a little leg work and look. With the vast questions asked over and over i can understand why some people are short with answers, but if you really have nothing pertinent to say, by all means STFU, if a question is about topping a plant in January from a newb, why would you tell them to get bushy plants put them in the summer sun? Veg till the end of June? I for one would never ask a question on this forum as i dont feel like getting ridiculed from a moron behind a computer. with that said i would like to give props to those that really try to help......

As for the people with the "attitudes".. just ignore them bro. Its mostly just punk ass, immature kids that have no life and nothing else better to do than to act tough behind the computer screen. Trust me, its not even worth worrying about. Simply put the brainless fucks on your ignore list. That's what I do anyhow.
As for myself, I'm a laid-back kinda person. 28 years old turning 29 this coming February.. and I've learned in those 28 years of my life, that the trouble-makers and shit talkers.. aren't worth worrying about. They'll eventually find out, that in life.. acting like they do.. won't get them anywhere.. plus.. Karma is a bitch.. and whatever they have been/or will be dishing out to other people.. will eventually come back to haunt them.
Anyhow, stick around bro.. there are actually some cool people around here. I've been here for about 2 years now.. my original 'screen name' was 'ganjaluvr'. Long story as to why I'm not using that account.. but yeah, just ignore those ignorant kiddies.

i think that you kinda hit it on the head when you had mentioned that sometimes a ? is asked over and over and over and people may get tired of answering it over and over and over, lol.. but i don't really understand that line of thinking.. if someone posts a ? that i may have just answered yesterday, no one is holding a gun to my head telling me to post a reply..
and i hate when people will just reply and tell you to do some homework, or more reading on the site.. it would have taken the same amount of effert that it took you to type a worthless response than it would have to type a worthy one..
wtih all that being said though... there are plenty of really really knowledgeable peoples on this site that go way beyond what can be expected to help out newb's.. brick top, dark destruction, jesus of cannabis, and many others here are all very knowledgeable about marijuana and growing it, and always seem to help out those in need.. than you always have anc, florida sucks, ndangered species, sr verde, and the crypt keeper to answer any of your psychedelic questions..
in conclusion.. lots of great people and knowledge on riu, its just that sometimes it takes a lil digging to find it..

Also somthing i have noticed, It seems that some ppl have forgotten that there are tons of ways to do it "right". There egos get big and suddenly there way is the best and everyone else is wrong. this is just something else to get past on this site. You just have to figure out what works best for YOU and your setup.

This is a great site for new growers like myself. There is usually more than one way to get to the same destination with some being better than others, but we still get there with bumps and bruises. I do understand the frustration over some of the questions that we newbies ask, which is why I read and viewed DVDs to get a headstart with knowing at least some of the basics before I started my test grow. This growing business is a science. People have theories and test them out with experiments to prove or disprove them here on these threads. Yes, the same questions get asked over and over, and then over again. It is impossible to go through thousands and thousands of threads to find the answer to our questions, and it's just easier to ask it again. Newbies have no idea what has been asked before without digging really deep into the archives. The experienced growers on the thread have seen and answered the questions before, while most of us new comers have not. Thanks to those of you that are willing to help us along without kicking our butts in the process

dude im a noob myself took me a couple of months to post anything for that exact reason keep with it. not everyone you meet on the street are exactly forthcoming thats the way the wolrd is going these days people would rather tell you to piss off than give you the time. +rep for having the balls to tell it how it is though.
