As far as repetitive gigs go, cutting buds from stems is as monotonous as it gets. But giving good trim is a skill, and it certainly pays better than minimum wage. Read more

I fucking hate trimming..... after about your 10th plant..... you REALLY hate trimming..

I have a spare jointer in the wood shop I was thinking about making into a auto-trimmer...

I was reminded of it watching Cheech and Chong Up in Smoke, LOL!

You just totally reminded me of 15 years ago when I bought a planer to mutilate and box up to pull a vacuum using a shop vac. overheating and blades gunking among noise were cons, what a waste. then I just bought my first Trimpro workstation.

trimming is fun. a lot of great stories are told at the trimming table!!! laughter and laughter. probably the best part of growing is trimming.

Like a lot of things it is how much of it that you do, that makes it drudgery or fun. Remember that Mark Twain story about painting a fence?

I have 1 small plant to trim tonight. I am looking forward to it. The most I had to trim at 1 time took 6 hours, that was not fun at all.

Hilarious.. if you have a college degree, in philosophy/english/economics... youre gonna end up trimming. I almost wanna say.. learn a trade :)

Trimming is a novelty, its fun at first... I like to examine the buds, see what worked etc, but its mind numbing.. Id rather get the room setup for another run.

What I do???

I put all my harvest into a big giant plastic bin, then turn on Star Trek(I have every star trek episode ever made of every series). Then my wife and I hang out all day watching Star Trek and trimming, while getting super baked.

I F'n hate trimming. which is why I bought a spin pro trimmer. literally cuts my trimming time in half. I grow 10-12 monster 6'+ plants and do all the work myself. 24hrs to cut/trim/place in nets. I do it now in 12hrs.

TV slows me down, keep having to look.... I prefer music on a headset, this stops the jibber jabber and ppl trim faster. About 25 - 30% faster in my experience. No point in adding more days to a one week long triming sesh.
