Hey dudes and dudets I have this light I inherited from a friend. He said it was a 150 watt hps light. That's what it really reminds me of.... However when I put my plants under it it seems to make the smell reduce and somewhat go away all together.... When I decided to place outdoors for a couple of days of natures greatest the smell is almost overbearing......... So could this light be causein my problems.... I'm wanting to bring her back in because it's an autoflower strain and I understand the thrive with an 18/6 light cycle...... So please help!!!! And thanks

Ussualy in lanterns and factories they use HID lighting.
So it could be HPS bulb, and all smell get lost because plant is having to hot temperature and plant's small pores close and no smell comes out.
I think you need better ventilation.

yes , thats a HID bulb for shure , but try to look for any imprint on the bulb like model , or any number , and then search it in google , all the lamps should have some printing anywhere , at least here in europe they have.

anyway the lamp its cheap , what you are really looking for , is the Ballast inside , thats what probably worth it , cause probably its quality material.. lamp is "peanuts" i advise you to get a new one , you dont know its life hours soo open that case check the potency of the ballast to know if its really 150W and get a new lamp for there , thats what i would do
