What Light To Cover A 4X4 Tent?

Hey guys I am looking at buying a new light. Right now i have a 600watt mars hydro witch is pulling 265 watts from the wall. It is not even covering my 2 plants right now. I need a good light that will cover the full 4x4 tent.

I am not worried about the price but want to make sure the light i buy will cover it 100%!!

I have a 600w vivosun air cooled

It just pulled 14.5 ounces off 4 plants in a 4x4

I've seen some of the led guys pulling great crops with qbs and strip builds in 4x4s

630 cmh would beast out in that space too

It really depends on which route you want to take and how much you want to spend .

Are you also vegging with the HPS?

2 315 CMH or 1 630 CMH. Them lights are good for both veg and bud. I think you can get a 630 fairly cheap as most companies are phasing them out. If you can get on Grand Rapids Hydro's site they had 315s for $100 a piece.

This is the same 600w kit i bought and am running in one of my 4x4s

Its a nice light for sure, does the trick

I did buy a new hortilux hps bulb for flowering, first run with this light in a 4x4 yielded 14.5 ozs. it can def grow some weed.


Blue Back is probably right tho, i only had my 600w for a bit, before i started looking at buying my cmhs lol

for the price difference, he could change over one light at a time if he feels like it.
I am an LED exclusive grower now, not even that bias, would make me recommend another route unless the person is flush with some new grower money. HE can get a fan and ducting with the money he saved.

I got a fan and everything in my tent. got 2 plants flowering right now. My led is not even covering my 2 plants lol. Sell the led run the hps to finish the to plants i got now and do another grow with the hps then i will look at the cmh

Good lights are the switchable ones - then if 600w kicks your ass you can turn it to 400 or if you have a heatwave etc etc.

Also once you feel you need more light theres no new investment just flick a switch and extra few hundred watts :-)

Yes. Less of what you don't want. Heat, hi electricity bill. More of what you do want. THC, light spectrums, rock hard buds. Ect.
