Just wondering what brands they use in general. Ive heard a few in Denver use House and Garden. Ive been using advanced nutrients for about a year and am thinking about trying a new company and was just wondering if anyone knew

When I ran a medicinal grow we used house and garden. Expensive stuff... but we were putting out 10 to 15 pounds a week so they could afford it...

That's what im thinking about running is the cocos line do you know if drip clean works good in hand watered applications to prevents salt build up or is it just more like a flushing agent like florakleen or clearex

Many growers are turned down because of the over use and consistent use of nutes in there grows, many try to hide the fact by flushing and scamming to work their fiddle, but once you have a bad name in this young industry ...you never get back in...ask any DWC guys, stick to organics and make the bucks...its what the customer/patient wants thats, ... gonna win this over from the money guys ...wait and see!

We used drip clean and hand watered. I honestly don't know if it prevented salt build up. That is what its supposed to do though. I never ran a side by side with it and without it.

I've never used voodoo juice but roots excel was probably my favorite product by House and Garden. Massive results.

Maggies Farm in Colorado Springs only uses organic. They even make and sell their own soil.
They also grow in real greenhouses.
Some of the best weed ever.

I'm almost positive med growers use h&g, or Canna, or GH, or Botanicare, or advanced, or, or, or.........LOL :-D
Or soil w/teas, or liquid organic nutrients, or w/synthetics, or, or, or............

Pain in ass to mix and use. To frickin salty and drip clean tends to make a "brick" out of our soil's and repel the water.....I know, needs to "run through" and that's waste ($$$) so, wash then? ..... don't have the time and I'm not hiring more help to!

Canna: PRICEY! Nice stuff but they don't want to make a bulk rate deals to our satisfaction.

Botanicare is ok and we use a couple of their suppliments,,,,but I still don't like the dirty equipment factor and don't have the time right now to "tweek" in their stuff to our required result levels. I do like the "KIND" line for not having to add Cal/Mag to our RO for the DWC.

AN, NOT IN MY "F'IN" LIFETIME! Urea based, over priced!!!!!

DynaGro, Good stuff and their willing to deal in bulk....I'm just dialed "in" with another product.

I/we use Hesi as our "base" nutrient in synthetic soil or hydro grows. There are supplements that we use and they differ between soil and Hydro (DWC & EBB & FLOW) grows. We have found over the years that Hesi is the cleanest running synthetic out there.

BUT, the BULK of what we do is 100% ORGANIC. Soil, Tea's and dry amending. Strain dependent. We started out with home made Tea brewers and went to a Vortex brewer for the amounts of tea needed and the ease of use/cleaning. All "left overs" and "dumps" are put on gardens by all involved! (ever see a 10ft tall tomato plant that produces softball and larger sized tomato's) No enviro waste!

Currently, i'm using Cns-17. It's good, and simple/easy. Used floraseries forever. And I've tried MOST hydro-store bought base
nutes. Most are decent.
We use teas outdoor

Yara calcium nitrate is the cheapest and pretty good.

You can get 50 pound bags of greenhouse grade calcium nitrate for about 30 dollars.

They might use some shit (guana or manure whatever you prefer to call it) 1 in 1000 chance... They probably stick with coco nutes and bio bizz nutes.... If there is anyone that works in a med then help this guy out :)
