What nutrients are necessary for flushing a hydroponic grow?

I have one plant in a 5 gallon hydro bucket and it is looking like it will be ripe pretty soon. I use tap water with my nutes and i was thinking i could just dose it with this clearex that i have for a week or 2. Or should I get some distilled or purified or RO water or something and dose that water with the clearex? I also have some cal mag and some sweetner I have heard of those being used during flush.

How about not pre-harvest flushing?
Flushing (not pre-harvest flushing) is only useful when you have a salt build up, unbalanced solution or another error in your grow.

Pre-harvest flushing is very basically the same as taking away the food from the plant, letting it get a deficiency in the most important part of the grow (final weeks of flowering).
This deficiency lowers the production of every substance within the plant, in effect it weakens the plant.

None of the myths about pre-harvest flushing have ever been backed up by scientific research.
You don't get 'chem bud' by not flushing (nutrients are not even stored in the calyxes (flowers)).
You don't get a better taste / odour either. A proper dry & cure will improve the odour and flavour.

Whereas scientific research has shown that lowering/removing the nutrient dose harms the plant in many ways.
In almost every plant it diminishes the yield and it also affects the general growth and cycle of the plant.

There is absolutely nothing to be gained from pre-harvest flushing.
