Hey folks, I will be feeding my babies some compost tea to my flowering ladies about the time most folks use a PK booster (with synthetics). I was wanting to know what would be a safe P and K value would be if I added guano's to that batch of tea, to give my babies a slight boost when they need it most. I know Super soil only "requires" water, but I think a 1 time PK boost when the plants need it most, may increase my harvest's weight.
So what would be a good ratio of N P K to feed them? I was thinking maybe a 1-3-3 to keep it low so it does not burn the plants, but I would really like some opinions on what a "SAFE" value would be to use.
Locally I could not find roots organics, so I used pro-mix as my base for Super soil. Because of that fact, I feel it should be safe to add some P-K boosting guano's to the tea in the 3rd or 4th week of flowering (When the plants are at the stage that I would usually use a PK booster with hydro) to help the buds fill in. If I am wrong let me know, and I will just skip the guano's, but again I think it would be safe because the pro-mix has less nutrients than the Roots organic soil.
