300-500 ppfd for early Veg is a reasonable range

Rutroh, How huge a grain? I'm reading 275ppfd right now with a FC-4800 @ 30% power, 12 inches from canopy. Could it be 100 or 600?
The photone app seems close enough for me , i’d guess it’s within 100 ppfd which is close enough for growing a weed.I mean i get being precise and scientific to a point but it isn’t brain surgery.
12” has always seemed to close to me for young plants. I’d go 24”minimum and 40-50% if it were me just my opinion though.

Depends on the specific hardware
Mars claims ~1200 ppfd @ 12", so 30% will be around 360 ppfd
