What should a quarter ounce look like?

If it was all clumped together it should look almost like a baseball

First of all it should look and smell like weed, if you have to ask this question im asuming your 15 or 16 years old with little ganja experiance, second it should smell skunky like weed, third it depends on if its comercial erb or good nug grown erb. general rull of thumb, if its in a clumpy compressed comercial ball bust it up a little and it should be 2 fingers wide for a man but 3 in your case youngster, and should read 8 grams with a regular baggie, 8.5 with a pleated baggie and 7 with no baggie. get it? got it? good!!!

it should make a 7 appear wen droped onto a weigbridge, id never weigh by eye, if im wieghin weed im smokin weed and no way could the naked pinkeye be trusted!

What should it look like?....... Ummmm you cant even really answer that question as all buds will looks different, with different densities. Like others said, it should weigh 7 grams. Who the hell cares what it should look like? Weigh your bags kid, and dont skimp your customers.

It should say 7.0 when you place it on a properly calibrated scale

If you don't have access to a scale a rule of thumb is that it should take up a quarter of the space in a normal sized ziplock or sandwich bag.

IMO your not serious about it if you don't have a scale.

It's just a dumb question, with way too many variables.

My point was he should buy a scale to buy the weed, or don't buy it at all.

A scale is $30, and anyone is allowed to purchase a scale.

It weighs 7.075 grams or commonly rounded to 7.0 grams it is 25 % of an ounce. Some quarters of different weed look almost TWICE the size of other bags of the same size.
