What size airpump for 10 gallons of water?

I want to get 2 - five gallon buckets of water to start aerating. (I was using just straight tap water put into a gallon bottle) but the guy from my hydroshop said that its imperative to aerate water to get rid of as much chlorine as possible to stop from killing beneficials in the medium. I told him about my watering needs, and he tried to sell me a 25 liter-per-minute pump. which just seems way overkill for 2 five gallon buckets of water. Im pretty cheap and $60 for an air pump just seemed ridiculous. What size should i really be looking for? the 15 liter-per-minute pump seemed good enough. 10 gallons of water is only 37.8 liters. So im not sure what math he was doing, maybe professionals just like to overkill?

edit: also, is there a reason to get a more expensive hydrofarm pump when you can get cheaper fish tank pumps at a fraction of the price.

I am not doing the math liters to gallon .. . but I have a 5 gallon bucket cloner . it has a 250 gallon per hour pump and a bigger cloner with 20 gallons it has 500 gallon per minute . hope this helps these pumps are cheap . but make sure you buy a good one . make sure it does not heat up the water . those cheap ones do

1-2 liters of air for every gallon of water is ideal.

I wouldn't use a compressor unless its oil free, you could be blowing oil into your water.
