I would like to leave a bottom flap open and have a booster fan blowing air out at the top. This should suck in air from the bottom and push it out the top. It's not for heat just air exchange. What size booster for a 5x5 gorilla tent. I'm using a air cooled 1000 watt hps with a 8 inch vortex for heat. I would like to try to keep the booster fan as small as possible while still exchanging air sufficiently. again it's not to remove heat. just exchange. No heat problems.
Have you tested any of this yet?
I used to run an independant cooling system for the light with secondary fan/filter for exchange.
I was using a 600w in a blockbuster 6" with 6" 440CFM fan.
Then I had a 150CFM fan and filter for exchange in a very similar sized room.
The room still got warm through radiant heat during the summer, during winter I then suffered with condensation from external air passing through my lighting rig. It caused condensation inside the hood aswell as on the exterior of my ducting at the hoods intake port.
I wished I had more fan power than I did to help remove some of the moisture. I had to purchase another item, dehumidifier. That then resolved the problem.
IMO you're going to want some extra fan power to help remove some RH from all the plants. If its too strong then dial it down.
Better to be able to turn a fan up or down than be running on 100% with nowhere else to go.
