What would be a good size carbon filter and fan for a grow tent of 2x4x5. Any suggestions as far as brands?

I am using a 440cfm carbon filter fan combo, I have a 4x4 tent and the fan/filter is probably over doing it but stealth is a big issue to me since im in the city. Not the best idea to cut corners with fans, they are very important to keep your plants cool and healthy
the standard inline systemair fans that most hydro shops sell are good enough and cheap enough
although i prefer the boxed centrifugal fans
its better to work out what size fan you need, then get the next size up, so you can spoil your plants with lots of nice fresh air

I have not, my fan is sunleaves brand. I cant say anything bad about the ebay stuff because I have never used it. Im happy with what I have. Narrow a google search down with the ebay staff looking for specific reviews of the brand you buy.
Oh and find out if the flange for the filter is seperate. My Mnt air hooks direclty to my fan, no seperate flange purchase required. I liked that.

nothing wrong with ebay, your fan looks fine, pretty standard inline fan
the op said cheap ebay brand, and cheap is not always the best place to start with fans
your fan is not cheap either its $140 for a 6inch, that is average maybe even a little bit too expensive for the op

...mind you it was $199 when I got it. 6" with controller. I run it at full blast 24x7. I have the same size tent as you and the setup could likely suck a golf ball through a garden hose
I'd splurge on the 6", in case you ever want to get a larger tent (you will eventually).
